Open your event to every charity.
Your participants want to raise money, but for a cause that matters to them. WeGlow gives your event one place where every participant creates their own fundraising page for the charity of their choice. We invite the charities and make sure every donation reaches the right cause.
101 km on foot. €41,164 for 17 charities.
Hagelandse 101 is a 101 km walk through the Hageland region, starting and finishing in Leuven. In September 2026 every walker could raise money through WeGlow for a charity of their choice. 41 participants created a fundraising page, and their family, friends and colleagues donated 1,145 times. The money went to 17 different charities, from small local groups to national organisations.
Working with WeGlow went very smoothly and gave us a great result at the end of the ride. From the very start WeGlow takes care of everything and communicates clearly and openly with the organisation, so both sides always know where things stand. A real recommendation if, besides organising, you also want to support charities.
People want to raise money, but for their own cause.
When an event picks a single charity, many people drop out. The father walking for his daughter with epilepsy, or the colleagues who have supported a local school for years. Let every participant choose, and more people take part and raise more, because it is about something that moves them. WeGlow makes that possible, without extra work for you.
More participants.
People who choose their own cause sign up sooner. And every charity brings its own donors, volunteers and followers to your event.
No extra work.
WeGlow invites the charities, helps them get started and answers their questions. The money goes straight to them, so you have nothing to split.
More for your sponsors.
Their logo on your event site, and afterwards one total they are proud to put their name to.
More impact.
At Hagelandse 101, €41,164 went to 17 different charities. A story that makes your event stronger every year.
Everything for your open event, in one place.
An event site in your event's own style.
WeGlow sets up your event site with the story, the charities, the leaderboard and the practical info. Before the event, the site invites people to join. During the event, donations come in live. Afterwards, it shows the result.
- Changes by itself before, during and after the event
- Logos of your sponsors and partners
- Works on phone and computer
Any charity can take part. We do the work.
Bringing charities on board usually means emails, questions and meetings. We take that over. WeGlow invites charities, helps them set up their account and payments, and answers their questions. Charities can also sign up themselves. Each charity sees its own donations and participants, and promotes your event to its supporters.
- Invitations and sign-ups without work for you
- Each charity receives its donations directly
- Tax receipts for donors, automatically
A fundraising page for every participant.
Participants create their page in four steps and share the link with family, friends and colleagues. WeGlow helps them with tips and reminders, and every donor gets a thank-you email.
- Alone or in a team
- Their own photo, story and goal
- Donate with Bancontact, Payconiq, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay
Live leaderboard, teams and one total.
The leaderboard and teams encourage participants to share their link one more time. Afterwards you get a report with the result per charity, for your communication, the press and your sponsors.
- Leaderboard for participants and teams
- Live ticker of incoming donations
- Report after the event, per charity
You organise the event. We do the digital work.
An open event adds no extra work for your team. This is how we split the tasks.

Free for your event.
An open event costs the organiser nothing. WeGlow takes 5% per donation, for the platform, the payments and the support. Donors can add that 5% themselves, and more than 80% do. That way the charity receives the full donation.

What organisers ask us most often.
What does an open event cost the organiser?
Nothing. WeGlow takes 5% per donation. Donors can cover that fee themselves, so the charity receives the full donation. More than 80% of donors do.
Which charities can take part?
Any nonprofit, foundation or association raising money for a good cause. WeGlow invites charities and helps them sign up. Charities can also sign up for your event themselves.
Does the event have to split the money between the charities?
No. Every donation goes straight to the charity the participant chose. The event never touches the money and has nothing to transfer.
How do participants start a fundraising page?
Through the button on your event site. In four steps they choose a charity, decide whether to join alone or in a team, and write their goal and story. Then they share their link.
Do donors get a tax receipt?
Yes, if the charity is approved to issue tax receipts in Belgium. Anyone who gives at least €40 to the same charity in a year gets a receipt and 30% of the donation back through their taxes.
Can we also sell tickets or registrations through WeGlow?
Yes. With WeGlow Ticketing you sell tickets with a QR code that you scan at the entrance. That keeps registrations and donations in one place.
What do we get after the event?
A report with the total, the number of donations and participants, and the result per charity. Useful for your communication, the press and your sponsors.
