How much does WeGlow cost for a charity?

Starting is free, without a subscription. We charge a 5% platform fee per gift, and more than 80% of donors pay it themselves. The Plus plan costs € 40 per month and adds the donation form for your own website.

Can I create tax certificates with WeGlow?

Yes. We add up every gift per donor per year and create the Belcotax file for the Belgian tax authority. Your organisation must be approved to issue certificates.

How much tax relief does a donor get?

30%. Anyone who gives at least € 40 a year to an approved organisation gets 30% of that amount back through their taxes. A gift of € 120 costs the donor € 84 net.

Which payment methods can donors use?

Bancontact, Payconiq, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer. Which ones exactly depends on the payment provider you connect: Mollie, Pay.nl, Stripe or Payconiq.

Does the money go straight to us?

Yes. You connect your own payment provider account, and it pays the gifts into your organisation's bank account.

What is peer-to-peer fundraising?

Your supporters raise money for you among their own friends and family, for example for a birthday or a sports challenge. On WeGlow they create their own fundraiser page, and every gift goes straight to your organisation.

Do we need our own website?

No. You get your own organisation page, and every campaign gets a link and a QR code. If you do have a website, you can add the donation form to it.

Which languages does WeGlow support?

Your pages work in Dutch, French, English and German, among others, and donors choose their own language. Need another language? Let us know.
